Flow9 can be connected to an AI assistant so you can work your CRM by talking to it: look someone up, create a lead, move a deal forward, add a note, check what is due today — without opening the app. The connection is yours to make and yours to undo. Nothing is shared until you connect an assistant, and revoking it takes one click.

What the assistant can do

Once connected, and depending on what your workspace allows, the assistant can:
  • Find things — look up a customer by email, search leads, open a record
  • Read your pipeline — a summary by stage, what is open, what is due
  • Create and update — new leads, status changes, owners, notes, tasks, logged calls and activities
  • Work with automations — list what is running, enrol a record, draft a new workflow for a colleague to review

What it cannot do

The assistant cannot contact your customers. Sending SMS, email or placing calls is not available through this connection at all. This is not a setting that can be switched on — those tools are simply not offered.

Before you start

An admin has to turn this on first. Access is off until someone with admin rights enables it — see Enabling AI connections. If you connect before that, the assistant will report that MCP access is not enabled for your workspace. That is the expected message, not a fault.

The address you will need

That is the only thing you paste. You never copy a password or an API key into the assistant — signing in happens in your browser, the same way as any other app you log into.

Signing in

There are two ways to authenticate, and most people only need the first. Signing in with your Flow9 account. You click connect, a Flow9 sign-in page opens, you choose what to allow, and you are done. The assistant receives a revocable key of its own — your password is never shared with it. This is the route every guide here uses. An API key. For scripts and servers that run without a person present. If you are wiring Flow9 into your own software rather than chatting with it, see Settings → API Keys in the app.

Which assistant should I use?

Both work, on every plan including the free tier, and both use the same address. Pick whichever you already use. The steps differ slightly, so follow the guide for yours.
